North Minneapolis has experienced many challenges in the past
few years, not the least of which was a tornado that hit this
community in May of 2011. In addition, this community has
been disproportionally hit hard by the foreclosure crisis of the
last six years. Despite all that, the will and determination
of this community has been amazing. Hope is alive in North
Minneapolis and God is doing amazing things already. Be
changed by being a part of what God is doing in an under-resourced
community. Join the investment.
Teams may be involved in house painting,
landscaping, and fence mending.
In addition, they may help beautify parks,
common areas, and boulevards. Finally, spirits will
be lifted through youth sports
activities, a community window wash, and
food distribution.
Participate in a major beautification of this neighborhood that
will give the residents a proud place to live. We'll be based
out of Fairview Park Pavilion and Community center
for The Big Day.
2011 was great in St. Paul and May 5th, 2012 (
add this date to your outlook calendar) in Minneapolis is going
to be even bigger and better.
